A podcast and community dedicated to exploringthe “NO RULES” philosophy that should beembraced in wedding culture. Our mission is to be your source for real life wedding tips, inspiration, and insider knowledge! Wes and I are a married couple that have been photographing weddings for over 5 years and together we have photographed nearly 100 weddings in the Virginia area! We’ll draw on our experience and connect with top wedding professionals to provide insight into planning and ENJOYING your wedding day!
We’ll also interview real couples to find out how the decisions they made in the planning process played out on the big day! It’s our mission to provide insight and knowledge you need to navigate the exciting, complex, emotional, and fun roller coaster ride that is the wedding planning process!
We don’t want to be a podcast that tells you what to do for your wedding day. We believe your wedding day should be mandated by YOU and YOU alone but we want to encourage creativity and remind couples that there are “no rules” when it comes to wedding days, by sharing inspiration we’ve seen and picked up over the years as vendors.
We as vendors get to see a plethora of wedding days, we get to see behind the scenes of wedding days, and we gain insight over the years as we grow our businesses. We believe this is a genuine gift you can share with our audience base to encourage more brides and grooms to plan the weddings of their dreams. Whether big or small, gay cis trans or bi, rustic or urban, elopement or traditional…everyone has a story to share that might reach the heart of a similar bride/groom that may feel “alone on their journey”. Wedding planning should not feel like you’re on a deserted island, there is a community out here that believes in you, your love story, and the dream wedding you’ve always envisioned.
